A couple of months back, we reported that actresses Nakama Yukie (31) and Dan Rei (39) would star in a new winter drama for Fuji TV. Since then, we’ve learned that its title has been determined to be “Utsukushii Rinjin” (“Beautiful Neighbors”), and that it will air every Tuesday at 10:00PM, starting on January 11th.Today, the station released a beautiful PR poster created by the famous photographer, Ninagawa Mika. Placing the actresses against a black background with red spider lilies, she manages to capture the passionate atmosphere of this drama, which dives into the complex world of women.
In “Beautiful Housewives”, Nakama is to play a devilish woman named ‘Saki’ who is out to destroy the peaceful life of the happy housewife (Dan) next door.
After viewing the poster, Nakama commented: “It nicely portrays the relationship between the two women. There is the close atmosphere between two women that live under the same roof, but at the same time, you can see the slight nuance of how Saki is seizing the other woman.”
Dan also praised, “What a dramatic visualization!”
The two have already shot a short commercial for the drama, which will begin airing on December 14th.
