DIR EN GREY starts presales for “UNWAVERING” tour

Rock band DIR EN GREY has already scheduled their new tour, “THE UNWAVERING FACT OF TOMORROW TOUR 2010-2011,” which will start in December and run until next year. The ticket presales have officially started, and are expected to sell out immediately.

The tour is made up of just six stops to various clubs around Japan, with the first show being restricted to fan club members only. Since there are only six shows and the demand is so high, it is expected that tickets will sell out the same day they go on sale through e-Plus.

To help with the demand, the band is starting an application lottery to determine ticket purchases. There will be strict time frames for the applications for each venue. The December 28th Nanba Hatch show deadline is between November 6th at noon to the 10th at 6 PM, the two Nagoya shows have deadlines between November 8th at noon and the 11th at 6 PM, and the STUDIO COAST lives have a deadline between the 4th and the 9th at 6 PM.-

ViViD cancels “Welcome BACKSTAGE for COLORS” & postpones tour

ViViD blogged earlier that they would be postponing their tour due to the Tohaku Pacific Ocean earthquake and tsunami. They wrote:

Our hearts sincerely go out to those affected by damages caused by the Tohoku Pacific Ocean earthquake.

We were scheduled to have our “ViViD ONEMAN LIVE TOUR 2011 “Dear…ViViD COLORS”” tour on March 14th at Yokohama’s SUNPHONIX HALL in YOKOHAMA ARENA, but it has also been damaged and affected by the earthquake.

When thinking about aftershocks as well, the members and staff have decided to postpone the tour after some discussion. In addition to that, we have decided to cancel “Welcome BACKSTAGE for COLORS”, which was scheduled for that same day. We’ll let you all know what’s going on with changes after the 14th.

We’re sorry for really troubling the fans who have been looking forward to this, but please understand.

Sasaki Nozomi set to sing new non・no CM song

Sasaki Nozomi has revealed her new single, “non×non!! ~2011 spring edition~”, which will be released on March 16th as a limited edition ringtone download. The single will be used as the CM song for fashion magazine non・no, which regularly features Sasaki.

Once the song begins playing, the song’s repeating “non-no non-no non-no non-no” phrase is the key hook for listeners. To cater to the effect the hook will have on listeners, the ringtone for “non×non!! ~2011 spring edition~” will be released on March 16th.

In response to the wishes of non・no’s readership, the song creates “an unbelievable environmental ‘men’s episode’ that is extensively included in the song’s lyrics. When women hear the song, they’ll say, ‘this is true!’, and when men hear the song, they’ll think, ’should I secretly check how I feel?’ Even quiet and reserved guys will shout ‘no way!’ and ‘non・no!’ out loud.”

Sasaki’s music is already familiar to television viewers, as she sang Lotte’s “Fit’s” commercial song, “Kamu to Funyan feat. Astro”, and also covered Moritaka Chisato’s famous song, “Jin-Jin-Jingle Bells”, to critical acclaim.

Will her new song have the same effect on non・no magazine?
